Sturgis North Concession
Silver Creek PAC is running a concession at the Sturgis North Motorcycle Rally and Music Festival to raise some much needed money to purchase new playground equipment. Our existing Playground is unsafe and will be removed Spring 2011 leaving our children with no playground. It is our responsibility as Parents, Caregivers, Grandparents and Friends to come up with $40,000.00+ needed to give these children a safe place to play. This is an amazing opportunity to raise some substantial funds and ALL profits from the concession will go towards new playground equipment. Sturgis North runs from July 13th-17th. We will be serving Pancakes, Fruit, Chili, Chili dogs, Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Chips, Cookies and Juice. Our location is unknown as of yet but we will keep you posted! Come on out and support this cause, our kids deserve a safe and fun place to play!!

The Silver Creek Playground Fundraiser
Silver Creek Elementary School is a small, rural community school with a population of eighty students. As a community, we are currently in the process of fundraising to purchase new playground equipment. The wooden structures are old and have gone through several repairs over the years, enabling the students to continue to use the equipment. In October 2010, our two main playground structures did not pass a safety inspection conducted by safety officials from the school district. Due to dry-rot of several posts and failure to meet new safety standards, the equipment was deemed unsafe and has been closed to student use. The equipment will be removed from the school grounds within the next couple of weeks.
